The first Commodity Exhibition of China and Arab Countries opened Saturday in Wuzhong, a city in northwest China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.
Among the 120 exhibitors, dozens came from Arab states in the middle east, as well as countries that have a muslim majority.
The 5-day exhibition is aimed at promoting Sino-Arab exchange and cooperation and expanding Sino-Arab trade ties.
Andy Sam, from Ghana, brought organic products to the exhibition.

Commodities on display include gold jewelries, textiles, crafts and goods specially produced in countries like Iran, Egypt, Jordan and Turkey.
SOUNDBITE (ENGLISH): MOHAMED ELMORSHDY, Exhibitor: "We bring some Egypt papers, very famous painting with some Islamic things on. They are about Muslim people and their painting. And many stones from Egypt, like Milikite stones, which is kind of green stone, very famous. And we also brought some black wood from Africa. So I am doing business in several countries in Africa."
