YINCHUAN, April 25 (Xinhua) -- Three people were killed and twelve people were injured in a series road accident in northwest China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, sources with the local traffic police said on Wednesday.

    A car carrying eight people was suddenly turned over on the highway which MIngsha section of Beijing-Tibet expressway around 2 p.m. on Tuesday, leaving two people dead and six people seriously injured, the local traffic police said.

    When the local traffic police were investigating the car turnover, another mini-bus carshed into the parked police car, one of the five people on the minni-bus was killed on the spot, the other four people injured, and two police were also lightly injured.

    The cause of the accident was still under investigation. Enditem
